UW-Madison alumni release, ‘We Gotta Move’

June 08, 2015

UW-Madison School of Education alumni Kyle Walsh and Marc Kornblatt put together another fun music video, “We Gotta Move.”

Walsh says the video tells the story of movement in a first grade classroom, at Sugar Creek Elementary in Verona, Wisconsin.

We Gotta Move video“We move not only because it's fun, but because it's healthy for your brain and your body, and helps you learn, too,” says Walsh. “We hope you'll take a minute to dance and sing along, and share with everyone you know who could use a jiggle, a wiggle, or even a flop. Remember, moving is good for you!”

Walsh, who earned his undergraduate degree in elementary education in 2012 and teaches first grade at Sugar Creek, produced and directed the video, while Kornblatt also is listed as a co-director and composed the music. Kornblatt received his undergraduate degree in elementary education in 2001.

It was in June 2014 that Walsh released an entertaining and inspirational music video called, “If you Want to be a Reader.”
