Each year, the School of Education sponsors A Common Read book and series of events to facilitate diversity discussions among faculty, staff and students.
The theme of the series for the 2014-15 school year is Access, Education, & the Pursuit of Gender Equity. Discussions will center around topics presented in the book "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai.
This book was selected in collaboration with the campus-wide, Go Big Read. For more information, read the Go Big Read article on the UW-Madison News website.
Suggestions about curriculum and programming are welcome.

UW faculty, students, and staff are highly encouraged to partake in this opportunity to both celebrate the work of a recent Nobel Laureate - author Malala Yousafzai - and discuss complex societal issues affecting us all.
