Seeking Asylum: An Installation of Art by J. Leigh Garcia

Description

"Seeking Asylum" is the MA thesis exhibition for UW-Madison graduate student J. Leigh Garcia. This show is an interactive art installation dedicated to the lives of undocumented immigrants.

The exhibition includes work by six men currently facing deportation in the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Ga. Their stories helped shape this exhibition and it is dedicated to them. 

The show will run from Feb. 18 to 23, and the closing reception will be on Feb. 23 from 6-8 p.m.
