Description

Four finalists to become the UW-Madison School of Education’s Associate Dean for Student Academic Affairs will present public presentations and take part in question-and-answer sessions as part of the interview process.

Each Job Talk will be held from 11 a.m. to noon in Room 159 of Education Building. Following is the list of presentation dates, and the name and current position of each finalist:

• Wednesday, Aug. 1, Melissa Stutz. Stutz is the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management with University of Wisconsin Colleges.

• Thursday, Aug. 2, Christina Klawitter. Klawitter is the Dean of Students at Beloit College.

• Tuesday, Aug. 7, John Klatt. Klatt is the Assistant Dean for Student Services with UW-Madison’s College of Agricultural & Life Sciences.

• Wednesday, Aug. 8, Daniel Turner. Turner is the Director of the Division of General Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

The Associate Dean for Student Academic Affairs has general oversight and responsibility for student academic affairs and student services units and activities in the School of Education. This person will establish directions, develop policies and procedures, and facilitate coordination and integration among units providing services related to undergraduate dean’s office work, advising, student recruitment, program admission, scholarships and fellowships, and career services.
