‘Jo Wilder and the Capitol Case’ celebration

“Jo Wilder and the Capitol Case” launched for public use in October of 2018 as the first collaboration between UW-Madison’s Field Day Lab and Wisconsin Public Television. Since then, students have played the video game more than 25,000 times. Join educators, history leaders and more to celebrate this example of the Wisconsin Idea in action.

“Jo Wilder and the Capitol Case” launched for public use in October of 2018 as the first collaboration between UW-Madison’s Field Day Lab and Wisconsin Public Television.  Since then, students have played the video game more than 25,000 times.

Join educators, history leaders and more to celebrate this example of the Wisconsin Idea in action.

At 5:30 p.m., a short program will include a report of the game's outcomes, remarks from Robert Mathieu (Director of the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, which houses the Field Day Lab), Jon Miskowski (Director of Television at Wisconsin Public Television) and some of the Wisconsin educators that made the game possible.

Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
