What types of skills do college students need to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving labor market and society? Research shows that a strong work ethic and the ability to self-regulate one’s own learning is a competency highly valued by employers yet often challenging to teach to students. In this inaugural Center for Research on College-Workforce (CCWT) seminar, two experts will discuss why these skills are so important and how they can be cultivated in the classroom.
