July 05, 2017
Odyssey photoVideo from the June 27 talk, “The UW Odyssey Project: Achieving Dreams Through Higher Education,” hosted by the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE), is now available on the WISCAPE YouTube channel.

The event featured Emily Auerbach, professor of English and the Odyssey Project director, along with two graduates of the program, Rene Robinson and Corey Saffold, who shared their stories of transformation.

The UW Odyssey Project provides 30 students each year with a challenging college humanities class, earning six UW credits in English. Students receive free tuition, textbooks, childcare, and a weekly dinner through support from the university, grants, and private donations.
